Coventry Park offers a spacious, secure, self-contained community called The Gardens, dedicated to the Art of Caring for the special needs of residents with Alzheimers disease and related dementias. In a serene, light-filled environment designed specifically to foster independence and minimize anxiety, residents flourish under the compassionate care and guidance of carefully selected and trained staff.
Our residents enjoy the comfort and familiarity of small group living in one of five homelike neighborhoods, each with its own living and dining room and a higher ratio of staff to residents. Three sunny courtyards provide the opportunity to take a stroll, relax on a bench or join a group tending to the garden. Visual cues throughout the safe, yet expansive, common areas and lounges reduce confusion and guide residents from one place to another.
Staff members, supervised by an experienced Program Director, keep a watchful eye, ready to offer gentle physical and emotional support that is always tailored to individual needs and preferences.
Throughout the day and into the evening, residents are encouraged to participate in wide array of stimulating social, recreational and creative activities, often in small groups, that engage the mind, body, senses and spirit. Emphasis is placed on a simple, structured routine where abilities, talents and the rich experiences of a lifetime are respected and celebrated each day.
